Kita y Fernanda is a look at class, immigration and women's friendships as it follows the lives of two girls growing up in the same household; one the privileged daughter of a rich Mexican family living in Texas the other Kita the child of an undocumented maid.

Tanya Saracho was born in Mexico and is the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Teatro Luna: Chicago's Chicago’s all Latina Theatre.  Plays include Our Lady of the Underpass, Quita Mitos and Aparicion.  She is at work on a project titled 27 based on 27 interviews with Latin American/Iberian women.
