Janna Sobel is an actress, improvisor, director, and performing arts teacher for children ages 5-15. As such, she’s had the honor of working with creative souls at The San Francisco Playhouse, California Shakespeare Festival, Marin Theater Company, ACT, The Magic Theater, The Eureka Theater, The Marsh Theater, Cassandra’s Call Productions, No Nude Men Productions, Playground, and The Bay Area One Acts Festival.
A recent transplant to Chicago, The Ascension of Carlotta will be her very first play in the area. She is thrilled and grateful to be part of such a beautiful project.
Janna’s whole life changed this summer when her train going cross-country to NYC missed its connection in Chicago. During the 3 days she was stranded here, she was astonished by the joy, generosity, skill and love apparent in the theater community here. She will forever be grateful to Amtrak. |
