Timothy Spencer majored in painting at Maine College of Art, where he completed a thesis on set design. Since his first set design for the 11:11 Theatre Company, he has designed for plays in Boston, NYC, New Hampshire, Edinburgh and Chicago.
A painter at heart, he enjoys working in theatre and blending the line between the two art forms. In 2007, he was nominated for an IRNE Award for Best Set Design in a small theatre.
He is excited to be working with 16th Street Theater for the first time. He hopes you like his set, and if you like it, he will give you a big hug after the show. |
