SUZETTE MAYOBRE is honored to be working with the 16th Street Theater during its inaugural season and to be working with such a fantastic bunch of women. She also cannot say enough about the beautiful and heart-felt story of the 4 characters in the play.
Originally from Miami, FL, Suzette has been in Chicago for a few years, having been taken under the wings of the ladies of Teatro Luna, where she is an Artistic Ensemble Member. Teatro Luna credits include, most recently, Solo Tu and Lunaticas, as well as S-e-x-Oh! and The Maria Chronicles. Other theater credits includeEclipse Theatre’s Sextet: A Night of One Acts, The Sins of Sor Juana with Teatro Vista, Transients Welcome: Room 17C and Mouth of the River. Along with staged readings at the Victory Gardens, Chicago Dramatists and Teatro Vista, she has also worked on several commercials, industrials, voice-overs and independent films.
Suzette is grateful for this opportunity to grow and would like to thank Ann Filmer, Tanya Saracho, her husband Dave, her parents, in-laws, friends and the ladies of TL for their continued love and support. |
