Madrid St. Angelo is a Native New Yorker and a graduate of NYC's Neighborhood Playhouse New School of Acting where he trained under the auspices of Sanford Meisner and William Alderson. Recently he played Joseph Cuba in the Midwest Premiere of Reinaldo Povod's Cuba and His Teddy Bear.
Madrid has been nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Supporting Actor in A Passage to India and has worked with Silk Road Theatre Project, Steppenwolf Theatre and The Goodman Theatre. On screen he has appeared in cult favorites such as The Lower Circle, Cup of My Blood, and Welcome Back to the Barrio.
Madrid is a member of The Screen Actor's Guild and The Guild of Italian American Actors. |
